SID provides certain features to different users. The following presents a summary of what the functionality of the system is:
- Data Entry – Through SID, users can collect Personal Information, Incident Information, and the next steps the customer wishes to take for each Incident.
- Report generation – SID allows users to generate basic quantitative reports of incidents and data recorded by their organization and globally.
- Form Configuration – To enable each organization to efficiently collect data, SID provides features that allow users to control the information they can collect by adding extra questions to the incident form.
- User and Organization Management – Due to the nature of data stored, SID allows the administrator to manage a strict hierarchy of users and their roles.
