Dates: June 1st, 2025 – August 31st, 2025

This toolkit ensures that learners’ gain new knowledge upon completion of training and use new insight to complement their experience in preparing, responding and creating resilience against emergencies as a community-based organisation using a modular approach. Thus, it allows learners to use this course as a ‘thinking process’ to devise their own solutions to challenges faced in our changing environment and disasters.

Why should I take this course?

• To learn about how to prepare, respond and recover from a number of emergency situations and build capacities to accordingly react to others.
• To learn how to implement actions as community-based organizations to support persons living with HIV/AIDS (PLHIV) and other key populations.
• To be able to access funding to implement your acquired knowledge within your community.
• To be better prepared to fully participate in your country’s disaster response and ensure our communities are not left behind
