Certificates

1 min read

Every course offered by CVC has a certificate of completion. Usually, the grade requirement varies depending on the course, but it’s usually around 70% of average of all graded assignments. That means out of all the graded assignments you completed in a given course, the average grade you obtained amounts to 70% or more of the total grade achievable.

CVC academy supports two types of course: Self-paced and Instructor-paced. Depending on the type of course you might be taking, when you’ll get your certificate may vary.

  1. Self-paced courses: certificates are obtained as soon as you reach the required grade. You just have to keep track of your progress using the Progress page and when you reach the average required by the course, you’ll see a button that says, “Obtain certificate”.
  2. Instructor-paced courses: On top of reaching the minimum required grade to obtain the certificate, you also need to wait until the end of the course to obtain it. It’s usually 24 – 48 hours after the end date, but it may vary depending on the instructor’s configuration.

Once you claim your certificate in the progress page of the course, you can also see it on you user profile as a completion badge.
